What's Included with your Video Transfer

DVD & included MP4 File (Flash Drive not included)
Your videotape(s) will be transferred onto a DVD-R along with an INCLUDED MP4 file.
"Intelligent" Chapter Points
When transferring your videotape to a DVD, “Intelligent” chapter points will be placed at “scene breaks.” Chapter points enable you to immediately advance or return to specific points in your DVD. A thumbnail photo menu screen will begin your video transfer.
Title Imprint
Videotapes with legible writing on the label will be used (a summary of the contents) for your DVD label and DVD case insert. The back of the DVD case insert will contain full color thumbnail photos of the contents of your video.

If only receiving MP4 file(s), each file will be named “Tape 1,” “Tape 2,” etc. We do not name MP4 files, however you can easily rename them once you load them onto your computer. MP4 Files do not include chapter points.

Video Transfer FAQs

: No you won't! Because we utilize the (VBR) process for converting video to DVD, we can normally get almost two hours and 6 minutes of video and keep the same high quality. You won't loose any of your memories!
: Yes we can. We will author your DVD so that your DVD Menu will have two (thumbnail) windows. Click on the window of the video that you want to view and it will automatically play back at the proper size on your TV.
: We can transfer your VHS videotape to DVD but you should consider having you films converted to DVD. The picture quality from our "Tailor-Made system" is astonishingly better.
: With your authorization, you will be charged for two DVD transfers for four hours of video and three DVD transfers for six hours. At Tailor-Made we will capture all videotape to our editing system with no loss in picture quality. Our editors will then find an appropriate scene to end one DVD and start another using a fade-in and fade-out for each DVD. For Example: If a videotape contains a Wedding and Wedding Reception that runs 3 hours, we will edit the Wedding onto one DVD and the Reception onto the second DVD.
